Each year the Chamber nominates and selects a Citizen of the Year, an individual or married couple who have demonstrated extraordinary efforts in volunteerism and community service, and a Corporate Community Contributor, a business or organization that has donated or provided notable charitable contributions.
The CoY and CCC are feted through presentations by Chamber and City leaders and political dignitaries during the annual elegant dinner program considered one of Arcadia’s premier events.
The program also serves as the official installation of volunteer board directors and officers, including the Chamber’s new President.
Get your tickets to the March 21, 2013, dinner where Jim and Shelly Romo will be crowned Citizens of the Year for 2013-14, the Arcadia Association of Realtors will be presented with the first Corporate Community Contributor award, and the new slate of officers will be inducted: President Arlynn Robinson of Century 21, Earll, President-Elect Denise Weaver of Weaver and Associates Insurance, Vice President David Burke of Westfield Santa Anita, and Secretary-Treasurer Ed Beranek of R Edward Beranek Accountancy Corporation.
