The Arcadia Chamber of Commerce web site collects a limited amount of personally identifiable information from our users and occasionally uses that information for internal marketing. No personal information is sold or otherwise shared with third parties.
General contact information for member businesses is provided as a service on the Arcadia Chamber web site. This information also may be shared, on request, with other members.
This site uses “cookies” for navigation purposes. These are small files written to your hard drive. They help the site recognize repeat visitors — almost all web sites and advertisers use them. The Chamber cannot view personal information on your computer via these cookies. You can choose not to accept cookies by modifying your browser settings. You can remove any cookie stored on your hard drive by deleting it in your browser’s settings.
User names, links and email addresses are collected as is customary in the process of submitting reader feedback to web sites and blogs. Contact information gathered from comments is used solely to help the Chamber protect itself from spammers and other abusive posters. We will on occasion use comments and the provided name of the commenter for editorial reasons elsewhere on the site — such as an article inspired by the comments. Information provided for comment verification is not sold or shared.
Communications from the site
If you subscribe to our email update service, we will use your address to send content to you (via Feedburner or a similar RSS service). Out of respect for your privacy, each of these email provide you with a way to unsubscribe. No more than 12 times a year, the Chamber may choose to communicate with its email subscribers concerning site news, featured content or reader opportunities such as contests and promotions. We will not sell, rent or otherwise share email subscriber addresses.
Surveys or contests
From time to time the Chamber may provide web site users the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address). We will not share your street address or phone number, nor will we share mail addresses gathered via contest entries.
