Make a splash: Chamber offers Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings
Ribbon cuttings and grand opening ceremonies benefit our Chamber members by generating publicity for their businesses.
Requests for a ribbon cutting should be made to the Chamber office two or three weeks prior to the date. This gives invited officials time to add your event to their schedules.
The Chamber notifies and invites representatives from:
City of Arcadia: Mayor, Mayor Pro-Tem and Council members
Chamber: Board of Directors, Ambassadors and other Members
Elected Officials: Congresswoman Judy Chu, State Senator Ed Hernandez, Assemblyman Ed Chau and County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
If you are mailing out your own invitations, please send a sample invitation to the Chamber office.
Opening ceremonies may be scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoons between 3-5 p.m. The host business is encouraged to invite additional guests, including friends, neighboring businesses, customers, vendors, etc.
Your event will be listed on the Chamber web site for all to see.
Refreshments may be served. Balloons always are festive and help draw attention to your event.
We look forward to helping you present your business to the community!
