Dorano Jewelry, Inc. – Karen & Nara Avetisyan have opened their exclusive jewelry store in the heart of downtown Arcadia at 30 E. Huntington Drive. Their jewelry is known world-wide and in their home country of Armenia for its unique designs and fine craftsmanship. Karen (pronounced Car-en) told the more than two dozen attendees at the new store’s ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday (Aug. 7) that they make custom-designed distinctive jewelry with very high quality enamel, wood, and even stingray skin, all of which is very popular in Europe & Asia. Nara’s Godmother, co-owner of longtime Chamber member Western Medical Supply (46 years in Arcadia) encouraged them to move from Armenia a year ago and open their new store in our wonderful community that also begins and ends with an “A.”
