CURFEW, NEW TOOLKIT FOR DINE-IN RESTAURANTS, AND INCIDENT REPORT
The County of Los Angeles is regularly updating resources on COVID-19 and offers today’s update in an effort to keep you and yours informed. Please share the following up-to-date information:
Public Safety Update: No Countywide Curfew Today
LA County does not plan to issue a countywide curfew order tonight. Residents are reminded that municipalities within the County have the legal authority to implement curfews for their jurisdictions.
LA County continues to support the right of residents to take part in peaceful demonstrations. We also remain committed to ensuring the safety and protection of life and property, in collaboration with countywide municipal and law enforcement partners, by responding nimbly to the changing landscape.
For those demonstrating, please:
- Follow the guidance of your local city and law enforcement agency; and
- Follow guidance from the Department of Public Health, including wearing cloth face coverings and observing safe physical distancing.

New Toolkit for Dine-In Restaurants
LA County’s Department of Public Health has prepared a toolkit for dine-in restaurants, brewpubs, craft distilleries, breweries, bars, pubs and wineries offering sit-down, dine-in meals. The toolkit (link opens in new tab) offers further guidance on:
- COVID-19 Prevention Practices
- Physical Distancing Requirements
- Infection Control
- Protecting Employees
- Protecting Customers and
- Resources to communicate with your staff and customers
Restaurants and other food facilities are encouraged to support takeout and delivery service when possible.
