Lange Twins Winery – From the Field – Edition 3
Centennial Zinfandel, 93 Points
Our 2014 Centennial Zinfandel is an elegant single vineyard wine that celebrates our family’s and the region of Lodi’s long history with this exceptional varietal. This wine is crafted from one of the oldest vines in Lodi, the Lewis Family Vineyard, dating back 116 years.
We’re honored to mention that the 2014 Centennial was recently awarded 93 points. Hear what Wine Enthusiast Magazine has to say about it:
“This wine offers vibrant fruit and handsome oak spices on a big structure of firm tannins and a full body. Hints of mint and cedar lead to plump blackberry and raspberry shaded by accents of vanilla and nutmeg. Best through 2026.” – Jim Gordon
Our favorite flavors to pair with this wine are cheddar cheese, hanger steak, Bouillabaisse or ragu.
This is a super special wine to us that we love to share with friends and family. Be sure to get your hands on a bottle – only 18 barrels were made!
What Does it Mean to be Lodi Rules Certified?
With Aaron Lange, VP of Vineyard Operations
“When you are at the store and you see the Lodi Rules label on the back of that bottle, you can have a lot of assurance that the standards by which those grapes were grown were done in a sustainable fashion.”
Aaron Lange, VP of Vineyard Operations, talks about sustainable winegrowing, the Lodi Rules Program, and how the LangeTwins Family has played a significant role in its evolution over the years.
