• Angel Lin, recipient of the Suk Ching Leung Scholarship. Angel will be majoring in Statistical Science at UC Santa Barbara this fall.
- • Gabriella Perez, recipient of the Suk Ching Leung Scholarship. Gabriella will be majoring in Criminal Justice at Glendale Community College this fall, with plans to transfer to CSU East Bay.
- • Pheonix Gong, recipient of the May L. To Excellence Scholarship. Phoenix will be pursuing Nursing at Mount Saint Mary’s University this fall.
- • Patrick Lei, recipient of the Cheou Wang and May L. To Excellence Scholarship. Patrick is currently a college freshman pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Engineering at UC San Diego.
- • Lydia Alexander, recipient of the Cheou Wang and May L. To Excellence Scholarships. Lydia is currently a college freshman studying Television, Film, and Media studies at CSU Los Angeles.
This year’s recipients were given their awards during the 2016 Scholarship Awards Ceremony & Reception. The theme of the ceremony was “Dream It, Do it!” expressing AYC’s belief that all youth have the ability to achieve their dreams, regardless of their background or barriers to success.
