Seven years after buying the historic Constance Hotel property in Pasadena at the corner of Lake Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, Arcadia resident Kin Hui, founder/CEO of Arcadia Chamber member and sponsor Singpoli Capital Group development company, proudly hosted a ribbon-cutting Thursday (July 31) to introduce the completely renovated building to local dignitaries and supporters from Pasadena and surrounding cities.
The newly-named dusitD2 Constance, which will officially open in September after a soft-opening period, retains the familiar facade while offering guests the most elegant and modern of design and technology. Each of the 136 luxury accommodations, including 12 suites, offers an iPad touch tablet system that serves as a virtual concierge and allows guests to adjust room controls, make housekeeping requests, arrange dining reservations and even shop online. Each room also has a Smart HDTV, complimentary high-speed Internet and WiFi, and a panel for most necessary connections compatible with electronic and mobile devices.

Located in Pasadena’s central business district since 1926 when it was originally a boutique hotel during the Roaring ’20s, the building was most recently a facility for seniors.
