Westfield Santa Anita‘s third annual Lunar New Year celebration of the Year of the Ram got off to an exciting start at noon today (Sunday, Feb. 15) and continues all afternoon until 4 p.m. The activities, which began with a Chinese dragon dance and many other stage performances continues with Hello Kitty photo opportunities, a Hello Kitty food truck (The Japanese-based Hello Kitty company Sanrio opened a Hello Kitty theme park in China last month on Jan. 1, 2015), arts and crafts, calligraphy, and many exhibitor booths of give-aways, including Longo Toyota, as well as décor throughout the Center, special retailer promotions, and cultural exhibitions from the Chinese American Museum and Japanese American National Museum.
