A Vintage Valentine at the Arboretum’s Queen Anne Cottage
Will you be ours? This Valentine’s Day, escape the modern world and step back into an era of peak romanticism. Join us at the historic Queen Anne Cottage for an afternoon of elegance, history, and charm. While sipping champagne on the cottage porch, you’ll learn the secrets of Victorian courtship, discover strange bygone customs used to predict future mates, and learn the “Language of Flowers” as you craft your own floriography tussie-mussie bouquet. Take a rare look inside the cottage—built as a honeymoon gift for Lucky Baldwin’s fourth wife—and hear the tales of his storied amorous past. Enjoy appetizers while overlooking Baldwin Lake, and feel free to bring your own picnic basket and blanket for an enhanced experience. Guests are encouraged to attend in period appropriate attire.
Each guest will receive two champagne tickets and access to the Queen Anne Cottage and activities. (Non-alcoholic beverages available with advance notice.) Guests enjoying champagne must be 21+, ID will be checked.
