Community Sandbag Events and El Nino Information from LA County
Storm season is on the way in LA County. El Niño raises the chance of heavier rain and back-to-back storms this winter, and while a wet winter isn’t guaranteed, it’s always smart and safe to be ready. Please see this El Nino tool kit and share with your friends, family, and community members. Additionally, to assist in preparing our communities, the LACoFD is hosting free community sandbag distribution events from November 7 to November 28, 2026.
