ABOUT THE HONOREE
Congratulations to the 2020 Senior of The Year, June Colman. Over the past 20 years June has volunteered for the Friends of the Library and has run, single-handedly, the volunteer program that runs the Friends Bookstore. Without June’s tireless efforts, the Library and the community would see many fewer collections, services, and programs that are over and above what the
City and Library is able to provide the community. June’s quiet perseverance and dedication in keeping the Friends Bookstore well stocked with well-trained volunteers, directly and indirectly, gives back to the community every single day and provides the community with a very well-regarded Library that serves almost 500,000 people yearly. The City would like to congratulate June for her service, dedication, and contribution to the community.
