Paul Cheng Appointed Arcadia Mayor; District 3 Vacancy Process Underway
Councilmember Paul Cheng was sworn in as Mayor on May 19. Meanwhile the process to fill Arcadia’s District 3 seat is underway, after City Council interviewed several applicants on June 2.

Arcadia’s Proposed Budget Available Online
The community is welcome to review the City’s proposed budget ahead of the City Council’s planned adoption on June 16.

Waste Management Scholarship for Arcadia High School Seniors
Arcadia high school seniors graduating this school year and planning to attend a college or trade program this fall are eligible to apply for the WM and Arcadia Environmental Scholarship.

America 250th Home Decorating Contest and 4th of July Celebration
The City of Arcadia is hosting a month-long celebration for America’s 250th anniversary, culminating in a community-wide celebration on Saturday, July 4 at Santa Anita Park.

Pardon Our Dust – We’re Getting Ready for Concerts and Movies in the Park!
Crews are installing a new fence along West Huntington Drive to create a barrier from traffic just in time for summer events happening on the City Hall Lawn.

Free Fair Housing Workshop for Arcadia Landlord and Tenants
The Workshop will cover important topics for renters and landlords. Mandarin interpretation will be provided.
Safety Spotlight: Wildfire Risk Reduction Program Launch
