“Arcadia Eats” and Shops During Cookbook Month at Arcadia Public Library
September 24, 2021 – “Arcadia Eats” highlights a month of celebrating National Cookbook Month at Arcadia Public Library. This unique celebration is sure to whet one’s appetite for the history of food in Arcadia—and for a sale featuring gently used cookbooks and more on October 9.
“Arcadia Eats” will highlight the Library’s treasured collection of cookbooks published in Arcadia by Arcadians and will feature recipe videos on the Library’s YouTube channel, exhibitions at Arcadia Public Library and Arcadia’s Community Center, as well as vintage photos on the Library’s social media. Why not watch and cook with the Library, then tag Arcadia Public Library with the delectable results?
The Friends of the Arcadia Public Library is hosting a book sale that—in keeping with the spirit of the month—will feature an amazing array of nearly new cookbooks on all kinds of cookery, including international foods, desserts, breads, healthy cooking, classic how-to cookbooks, and more. A wide variety of books on crafting, interior design, DIY projects, and other fun activities, will also be on sale at bargain prices. The sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, from 10 am to 2 pm, in the Library’s auditorium. All proceeds support Library programs and services.
The Arcadia Public Library is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and 10 am through 6 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
