Arcadia Library Friends’ Spring Book Sale Starts April 2
Shop for deep discounts, unexpected treasures, and pop-up bargains at the Friends of the Arcadia Public Library’s annual Spring Book Sale starting the first week in April. The usual week-long Spring half-price sale—from Saturday, April 2, through Saturday, April 9—will be kicked off by a special members-only sale from 3 pm to 6 pm on Friday, April 1, and a pop-up $5- a-bag sale on Saturday, April 2. The sale will feature an amazing array of fiction and non-fiction, including books in Chinese and books for children. For the first time, members of the Friends will enjoy a special preview sale in the bookstore, where items will be half price. Want to take advantage of the special prices and better selection? Join the Friends anytime, including on the day of the sale. You can also bring your own bags on Saturday, April 2, and fill them with books, DVDs, CDs, and other items for just $5.00 per bag. Enjoy 50-percent discounts on all items in the Friends’ Bookstore the rest of the week, though Saturday, April 9.
