Arcadia Public Library Reopening May 3
April 23, 2021 – Arcadia Public Library will reopen to the public on Monday, May 3, with express services and temporarily reduced operating hours. This marks the first time the public has been able to enter the library building since March 2020, although the Library has continued to offer front-door pick-up services, passport services, and a wide range of virtual programming. Library users will be required to wear masks and socially distance while in the building and to follow posted COVID-19 guidelines.
The Library will be open to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 4 pm to 8 pm; Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 am to 2 pm; and from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Contactless curbside pick-up of requested items will still be available by appointment. Passport, remote printing, chat and telephone services will continue as before, as will online programs for children, teens, and adults. The Library’s electronic resources and downloadable books, magazines, movies, and more are available 24/7.
Library staff are looking forward to welcoming back the public and expanding library hours and services as conditions permit.
