Have we got a Hot Topic for you! Learn more about the Sweet Adeline’s Barbershop Quartet at the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council meeting on December 7, 2020

Hot Topic is a female barbershop quartet affiliated with the Verdugo Hills Chorus, a Sweet Adeline 4-part harmony group that has been entertaining in the San Gabriel Valley for over 50 years. The members of this quartet are all members of Verdugo Hills Chorus and have been together for many years. Patti, the Lead, is a music teacher, as is Penny, who sings Tenor. Dee, who sings Baritone, is an accountant and Ellen, the Bass, is a set decorator for television shows. Together HotTopic enjoys songs from every decade, especially swing tunes from the forties. They rehearse weekly and compete each year in the Spring at their Regional Convention.
