Foothill Transit Community News for June

Changes Proposed for Commuter Express Lines
Foothill Transit is proposing significant changes in express service into downtown Los Angeles. The proposal we are submitting for public outreach merges three commuter express lines — the 490, 493, and 499 — with the 498 and 699. Line 495, which starts at the City of Industry Park and Ride, will remain unchanged. Please see the map above. Details of the proposal are here 2026changes.
No changes occur without public input. Foothill Transit held several public workshops and virtual meetings and we still want to hear from you. Comments are due by Friday, June 5, 2026.
