Improving Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Townhall w/ Senator Portantino
Please join Senator Portantino at an upcoming town hall focused on a vital topic: Improving Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing. This gathering, which the Senator is honored to host with Pasadena City College, will serve as a platform for discussing mental health initiatives at the state level. We will also present valuable information about the warning signs of mental health challenges in young people and how to provide a supportive environment for our youth and those who may be struggling.
The town hall will bring together community members, experts, and advocates who are passionate about enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of our youth. We are honored to be joined by PCC Board of Trustees President Alton Wang, Dr. Sohil Sud, Director of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. Dr. Jocelyn Meza from UCLA and the Youth Mental Health Academy, and the LA Suicide Prevention Network.
