About MJ Finstrom

About Donna Choi
A native Angelino, Donna Choi has been with the Downtown Arcadia Improvement Association since 2016 where she works to increase the district’s brand identity through events and promotions, beautifying the area and adding pedestrian amenities, as well as managing the corporate documents, elections, and meetings.
She previously served as a Commissioner on the Board of Transportation Commission for the City of Los Angeles where she advised the City on transportation issues and as a Commissioner on the East Area Planning Commission. Following a successful career in radio (KROQ and others), she opened the popular Silver Lake gift shop Serifos, which helped lead the renaissance of the Sunset Junction business district. For 12 years, Donna and Serifos were active and engaged with the community, a highlight being their annual Halloween Treat-a-thon for local children.
