Santa Anita Park Supports Local Restaurants
Just a note to tell you that Santa Anita is doing what it can to help local restaurants by feeding our employees on race days.
Since the pandemic hit, we have closed our kitchens and offered lunches from eateries in the San Gabriel Valley to the 400 essential workers who need to be at the track on racing days.
For the 2020 Autumn meet, $60,000 was spent on these lunches. For our longer 2020-2021 Winter/Spring Meet, we will spend over $300,000.
