Attendees will complete some fun crafts and take part in awesome activities! Attend all four programs to earn a special prize.This program is intended for children aged 5-12. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Space is limited. Registration is free. RSVP required.

The Museum was awarded the 2024 Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship Grant to fund two paid internships during the summer. The Museum has selected Sam as the Curatorial and Exhibitions Intern and Ellya as the Education and Public Engagement Intern. Stop on by this summer and say hello!
City of Arcadia Military Banner Program
The Military Banner Program was established by the City of Arcadia to honor and recognize living military personnel from Arcadia. Street banners honoring those who have served in the United States Armed Forces will be proudly displayed along Huntington Drive and Baldwin Avenue in the month of November.
The application will be available online or in person.
This program is on a first come, first serve basis.
Deadline to apply is July 30, 2024

Collection Item Highlight: Chicken in the Rough Metal Bucket
In honor of National Fried Chicken Day on July 6, we are highlighting Chicken in the Rough metal bucket from Carpenters Restaurant that used to be located on Huntington Drive in Arcadia. Back in the day in the 1920’s, one could buy half a fried chicken for only 60 cents. A fried chicken a gizzards sandwich would of cost 35 cents.
Friends of the Museum Military Case Fundraiser
The Friends of Arcadia Museum invite you to support our fundraising campaign to provide the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage with a permanent enclosed glass exhibit display case for the artifacts in the Arcadia Veterans Local History Room.
This much-needed case would help maintain the integrity and longevity of the exhibit’s artifacts while providing a safe and informative experience for visitors.
