Your Arcadia Chamber of Commerce jumped three notches among the top Chambers of Commerce in Los Angeles County to #35 in the annual ranking of the top 50 Chambers by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
David Nusbaum ranks the Chambers by budget. If the ranking was by number of members, the Arcadia Chamber’s nearly 500 members would rank among the top 25. For the third year in a row, Nusbaum highlighted the Arcadia Chamber’s listing, this time with a note about the Arcadia Chamber creating a new www.VisitArcadiaCalifornia.com web site and companion Visit Arcadia app (Google Play Store for Droid phones and tablets and at iTunes for iPhones and iPads).
Other than Pasadena, which is ranked #15 with a $100,000 increase in their budget to $625,000, Arcadia, which jumped three spots this year, ranks higher than most other San Gabriel Valley chambers, including Irwindale, which bounced back up two points to #41; Covina and San Dimas at #45 and #46, respectively, despite having identical budgets; and El Monte/South El Monte, which made #50 this year at the expense of Monrovia, which fell out of the top 50 after ranking #49 last year.
Alhambra ranks 10th with a budget of nearly $1 million from only 425 members.
