On Wednesday, June 6th, the Arcadia Chamber trekked over to Pasadena to check out one of the newest restaurants in the area, Foothill (formerly Twohey’s Tavern) and to cut the ribbon and officially welcome the restaurant and their staff to the community. Around forty members of the Arcadia Chamber packed the front entryway for the ceremony then headed inside to snack off circulating trays of deviled eggs and their famous port wine cheese. Drinks were ordered from the bar as the event moved into a special edition of the Chamber’s Pop-Up Happy Hour, and guests took over tables to chat and network. Foothill also provided live music, and the venue itself has a great atmosphere for casual or even fine dining. The bar includes hand crafted cocktails, including their signature drink, the Rose Parade, and the popular Foothill Fire, which has a spicy kick.
Though guests are familiar with Twohey’s, and Foothill started its life as Twohey’s Tavern, Foothill is looking to create and promote its own identity as a ‘lively restaurant that pays tribute to classic American dining’ in a more upscale environment. The copper top tables, clean, white bar top, and expertly prepared, chef-driven meals and cocktails keep the clientele returning, and the venue already has many regular guests. The venue also can host private events, so don’t hesitate to call and reserve your party – 1-626-449-2337. And if you are looking for Twohey’s traditional, you can still purchase their fabulous chocolate and caramel sauces before you leave!
