Arcadia Community Update
Following a thorough application and interview process, the Arcadia City Council has appointed John Han to fill Arcadia’s District 3 seat.
At its June 16, 2026, meeting, the Arcadia City Council deliberated between five applicants and scored their top three choices, with John Han ranking as their top candidate. Upon his confirmation, Council Member John Han was sworn into office and took his seat on the dais. Han has lived in Arcadia with his family for more than a decade and says his interests are in moving the community forward by bringing stability, continuity, and integrity to his new role.
“I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve Arcadia during this pivotal time. I am committed to upholding the high standards that have long defined Arcadia by working closely with my fellow City Council colleagues and the City’s dedicated employees,” said John Han, Arcadia City Council Member. “I chose Arcadia for its exceptional quality of life and outstanding public services, and I look forward to building upon that strong foundation by listening and prioritizing the voices in our community.”
Han will serve the unexpired term for Arcadia’s District 3 until the next election cycle in November 2026. Following Han’s swearing-in, he participated in his first meeting as a City Council Member, approving the City’s upcoming budget, a proposed multi-family development project, and authorizing Arcadia’s new refuse and recycling rates among other items.
