How has the Arcadia Police Department changed over the years? Join the Arcadia Community Coordinating Council as Captain Jeremy Lachenmyer shares “A Look At Today’s Arcadia Police Department.”
Captain Jeremy Lachenmyer is the Operations Division Captain. He began his command of the Operations Division in January of 2023. Captain Lachenmyer brings extensive years of experience to the position. He joined the Arcadia Police Department in 1995 and has worked a variety of assignments over his 28-year career. As an Officer, he was a Field Training Officer, SWAT operator, and a member of the Force Training Unit. As a Sergeant, he held assignments as the Special Enforcement Team Supervisor, Detective Sergeant, Assistant SWAT Team Leader, and K-9 Program Supervisor. As a Lieutenant, Captain Lachenmyer was the Area 1 Commander, the SWAT Team Commander, and he managed the K-9 Program.
