Twelve of the best restaurants in Arcadia have landed in a new Visit Arcadia brochure being mailed this month in a special package to 8,500 high-roller ticket purchasers from all over the globe who will be attending the Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita Park in late October for the race days on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
It’s yet another great value of being a member of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce — all 12 restaurants are Chamber members. The marketing effort spearheaded and supported by the City of Arcadia and Santa Anita Park came together quickly through the Chamber as part of the Chamber’s new Visit Arcadia initiative featuring the best places to eat, stay, and play in Arcadia.
Visit Arcadia, promoted by Breeders’ Cup, features most all Arcadia restaurants, hotels, and retail and entertainment options for visitors, and is available at a new web site: www.VisitArcadiaCa.com (another URL address will be initiated soon at www.VisitArcadiaCalifornia).
Visit Arcadia will also soon become a component of the Arcadia Chamber’s web site (www.ArcadiaCaChamber.com), making it easy and accessible to visitors of the Chamber’s site.
A Visit Arcadia smart phone app is also being developed that will be launched in October in time for the anticipated 50,000-plus visitors to Arcadia for Breeders’ Cup to utilize.
Meantime, the four-page brochure being mailed this month, with thousands of others to be distributed throughout the community between now and Breeders’ Cup weekend, features the 12 top restaurants in Arcadia as chosen by the Chamber, the City of Arcadia, and Santa Anita Park, and who agreed to participate.
