Your health and safety are important to me. As a result, I would like to share with you information regarding the latest news about the new coronavirus in Los Angeles County, and how to keep you and your family safe.
At present, there is one reported case of coronavirus in Los Angeles County, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. I want to assure everyone that our public health officials, at both the state and local level, are working around the clock, with their federal counterparts, to monitor and contain the spread of the coronavirus. The California Department of Public Health recommends the public take the following steps to prevent the spread of all respiratory viruses:
