Barger Hosts Grand Opening of New East San Gabriel Valley Field Office in San Dimas
There was a buzz of excitement in the air this morning as Supervisor Kathryn Barger welcomed the community to her new field office (380 South San Dimas Avenue, Suite 202, San Dimas, CA 91773) serving the East San Gabriel Valley.
Anchored in San Dimas near the insertion of San Dimas Avenue and Arrow Highway, the office is open to the public and accessible to any constituent who needs support or information.
More than 70 individuals stopped by to see the new space and enjoy the tasty food catered by Sweet Savory Cafe and Bakery, a local business and member of the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce. City council members representing the cities of San Dimas, Glendora, Duarte, Monrovia, Claremont, Arcadia and La Verne, along with Chamber of Commerce members, local business owners, community advocates, public safety first responders, and local residents mingled and took the opportunity to chat with the Supervisor in the new space.
“It was truly a pleasure to see old friends, community members, and partners from the easternmost part of the Fifth District,” said Supervisor Kathryn Barger. “My team and I work hard on behalf of my constituents. This space reflects my commitment to continue being a resource for this part of the County. I welcome hearing from local community members, learning what they are passionate about, and providing support.”
The field office also hosts special one-on-one appointments where veterans can meet privately with their Veteran Service Officers. For more information about those hours and veteran services, call the field office at (909) 394-2264 or email kathryn@bos.lacounty.gov.
