Beauty Culture by Lani Lee showcased its elegant yet high-tech new spa at 715 First Avenue #A in Arcadia at a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce Thursday (April 9, 2015) for two dozen attendees.
Mayor John Wuo presented a certificate and congratulated owner Lani Lee, whose husband and mother joined her for the celebration. The Mayor was followed by presentations from new Chamber President Andrew Gregson of The Executive Factor, and representatives from local legislators also presented certificates, including Viola Van from Congresswoman Judy Chu’s office; from Senator Dr. Ed Hernandez’s office Clayton Arick; and from Assemblyman Ed Chau’s office Adam Hsu. Arcadia Chamber Ambassador chairman Rich Jones of the San Marino Tribune presented a certificate on behalf of County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. Arcadia City Council Member Sho Tay and his wife Sherry were also in attendance. Sho is also a longtime Arcadia Chamber Ambassador.

Lani had delicious sandwiches, drinks (even wine!) and dessert for everyone, as well as a temporary ice cream cart a gentleman serving scrumptious ice cream at no charge! (This was a great recommendation by Chamber board member and Ambassador John Sun of Budget Blinds!)
Arcadia Chamber CEO noted the impressive array of offerings in the facility, including a Star Trek-looking capsule for de-tox in which clients can get a sauna-like detox while laying down and without having to have their head and face inside the machine. Other machines offered shaking de-tox.
