Smiles and savory smells were in abundance at Caffé Concerto‘s Ribbon Cutting Celebration with the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce last night — Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015. The newly established location near Macy’s on the outdoor Promenade of the Westfield Santa Anita mall features an open seating floor plan decorated in cream with a modern Victorian flair. All in attendance were impressed with the glowing constellation ceiling, whimsical animal busts, and coordinated gold ornamentation.
However, the sincere hospitality of the Park family was the most remarkable observance of the evening. Arcadia Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Hettrick introduced General Manager Richard Park who said he was so pleased to be able to open a business in America and especially in Arcadia. After saying he believes in “Keeping it in the Family,” Richard took a moment to introduce his sister Carolyn Park, who handles much of the marketing and publicity, and their family members: owners Erin Jeon and Lion Kim, Co-General Manager Elizabeth Choi, and Operations Manager Kevin Kim. Head Chef “Uncle Eric” Kim got a nice round of applause before the ribbon was cut in a combined effort of family and Chamber and legislative officials. As a family owned and operated restaurant, the love for food bonds the Parks in their commitment to a quality and exceptional dining experience.

During the ceremony, Scott Hettrick also introduced Westfield Santa Anita General Manager Ramon Oseguera.
The special commendations ceremony were orchestrated by the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce with Scott presenting the new members with a plaque and offering a warm welcome to the community. Richard Park also accepted welcomes and congratulations certificates from Brian Mejia representing L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, and Chamber board member Annette Ousterhout of Jan’s Towing on behalf of Arcadia Mayor Gary Kovacic. Chamber board member Stephen Miyabe of Hart, Mieras & Morris presented a certificate on behalf of Congresswoman Judy Chu and Chamber board member and Ambassador John Sun of Budget Blinds also presented on behalf of State Senator Dr. Ed Hernandez.
Arcadia Chamber President Andrew Gregson also joined the large gathering invited by Caffe Concerto to enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner courtesy of the new owners and managers.
Caffé Concerto boasts delicious assortment of Italian and Korean cuisine with dishes beautifully harmonized in the homemade sauces and seasonings that elevate the salads and pastas, the tender marinated meats and seafood, as well as the specialty decadent desserts. Chef Eric balances out the fusion of flavors in the homemade pastas, pizzas, steaks and salmon dishes. The fusion is truly highlighted in their special house-made fried rice with the tastes of Indonesian Cuisine. Fragrant house tea, robust Intelligentsia coffee, and a sparkling wine paired expertly with the dinner selection. Caffé Concerto is a genuinely well-rounded experience as you enjoy both a home style appreciation for food and a culinary cuisine inspired menu.
Truly, the support of the community was showcased on a memorable night celebrating good food that pairs even better when shared with friends and family.
