California Public Utilities Commission Webinar – Natural Gas 101 and Policies for a Just Transition
This informational webinar will cover the basics of the gas system, how it is regulated, and the CPUC’s Long-Term Gas Planning Rulemaking in the context of other state efforts.
This Q&A session will provide attendees with an opportunity to help us better understand the communities we are trying to reach as well as how we should adjust our future engagements to meet their needs.

CPUC staff will hold an informational webinar March 16, 2022 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This webinar is intended to help organizations build capacity for engaging with the CPUC through a better understanding of the gas system, CPUC’s authorities over the gas system, and the Long-Term Gas Proceeding in the context of other state and local efforts. Time will be allotted for organizations to give feedback on their preferred engagement approaches and regional challenges and opportunities related to the gas transition.
