When the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce needed new blinds and new paint in the conference room of the iconic and highly-visible circular office building in the median of Huntington Drive, they called on the services of two Chamber members and Ambassadors:
To replace the decades-old vertical blinds for the floor-to-ceiling windows they chose John Sun’s Budget Blinds of San Gabriel for the job.- To provide the paint for the walls and ceiling, they choose Mark Ramos, who donated several gallons from his employer Vista Paint in Pasadena.
As most people know from Sun’s listing for Budget Blinds in the member directory of the Chamber’s web site, John’s territory has grown to include Arcadia, Pasadena, San Marino, La Canada, Monrovia, Arcadia and many other nearby cities in the San Gabriel Valley. A couple of his high-profile clients are the City of Pico Rivera and Houston’s Restaurant, and he replaced all the blinds as part of the recently remodeling of Matt Denny’s Ale House and Restaurant. Among Mark’s recent clients for Vista Paint include Methodist Hospital and Santa Anita Park, where the repainted world-famous green facade is visible to to tens of thousands of passing motorists on Huntington Drive and patrons of the track.
