The biggest-ever Taste of Arcadia; two more phases of remodeling in the Chamber office building and two new digital LED signs outside the office on Huntington Drive; awards for best local business and citizens; a leading role in announcing and arranging accommodations and breakfasts for the Host Town program of the Special Olympics World Games in summer 2015, and dozens of projects supporting the community and other organizations.
These were just a few of the highlights of the past 10 months of activity and accomplishments of the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce under the leadership of this year’s volunteer President, Denise Weaver of Weaver & Associates Insurance at the Chamber’s annual Planning Conference on Thursday (Jan. 22, 2015). Weaver, whose reign will officially come to an end on March 31 after she is honored at the Chamber’s annual Installation Dinner on March 26, also listed the thousands of community interactions, outreach, and resources provided every day by the Chamber.
