“Our mission is posted on the wall in our greeting lounge. It says “Making a world-class difference for others – and making dentistry fun.” We see our patients as treasured guests and we intend to spoil you. The awesome Temple City Dental Care team wants to help you look and feel healthy, confident and ready to take on the world, whether your world is in Pasadena, Arcadia, Temple City, San Marino, San Gabriel or any of the surrounding LA County, CA Southern California areas.” This is the mission statement for Temple City Dental Care, the office long run by Jack Von Bulow D.D. S., who has been newly joined by Samuel Lee D.M.D. Together the pair call themselves ‘The most interesting dentists in the world.’ It is this fun loving attitude alongside a caring personality that keeps patients coming back year after year.
Dr. Von Bulow recently expanded his office, creating a mirror image of his previous area in the recently vacated neighboring suite. The soft colors, peaceful atmosphere and fountains, not to mention the amazing staff, make this dental a popular choice when seeking out dental care. With the recent expansion, Drs. Von Bulow and Lee are able to also expand their patient base. Most of the staff has been long term, some approaching twenty years with Dr. Von Bulow. The staff is also very active in the community, with the Arcadia Chamber particularly acknowledging the continuous presence of scheduling coordinator, Denise Williams-Jones, who attends many Arcadia events. Denise’s sister, Dani Williams also works in the office, and Denise’s other sister Missie of Miss Missie’s cakes, cookies and more provided desserts at the ribbon cutting event. This is part of what makes Temple City Dental patients feel so at home: there really is a feeling of family, both literally and figuratively, in this particular office.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the parking lot alongside booths from Miss Missie’s cakes, Budget Blinds and John Sun, water provided by Jerry Robin of Stop Bottled Water Waste, and food was prepared by Carmen Richardson of Chef Carmen’s 3 C’s. Members of Arcadia, Temple City and Pasadena Chamber joined together after the ribbon cutting for a large group photo. Certificates were presented by Past-Past President Vicki Knight of the Arcadia Chamber, Sandra Maravilla of Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s office, and by the Temple City and Pasadena Chambers.
