Congresswoman Chu is hosting an Emergency Preparedness Workshop this Saturday November 10th from 2pm-4pm at the Temple City Live Oak Park Community Center. This workshop will help individuals and families develop a plan of action in the event of an earthquake or fire. We will also have information on general health and public safety concerns, including guidance on the recent outbreaks of typhus and the West Nile virus in Los Angeles County.
