Foothill Unity Center needs Volunteers

Foothill Unity Center, Inc. invites you to help us bring some holiday cheer to low income families in our local communities! Please visit our website at www.foothillunitycenter.org under GET INVOLVED to register to volunteer for our Thanksgiving and Holiday Packing and Family Distribution Events. There will be a limited number of volunteers needed for each shift. Registration is available for individuals and groups. We encourage groups to have a main contact person sign-up all individuals in their group for the desired shift(s).

IMPORTANT: All volunteers under the age of 14 must have parental supervision.

Friday, November 17 – Pre-Set Up Day at the Los Angeles County Arboretum (STRONG VOLUNTEERS)

Saturday, November 18 – Packing Day in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles Arboretum (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS)

Monday, November 20 – Large Family Distribution in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles Arboretum (ADULT VOLUNTEERS ONLY)

Tuesday, November 21 – Small Family Distribution at centers in Pasadena and Monrovia (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS)

Thursday, December 14 – Pre-Set Up Day at the Los Angeles County Arboretum (STRONG VOLUNTEERS)

Friday, December 15 – Packing Day in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles County Arboretum (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS)

Saturday, December 16 – Large Family Distribution in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles County Arboretum (ADULT VOLUNTEERS)

Monday, December 18 – Small Family Distribution at Pasadena and Monrovia Centers (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS)

Also in need of Volunteer Drivers to deliver food boxes to our homebound clients in the Pasadena area on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the months of November and December.
