Free Classical Guitar Concert at Arcadia Library
March 9, 2023 – The popular Classical Kaleidoscope Concerts, sponsored by the Friends of Arcadia Public Library, return Wednesday, March 22, 2023, to the Cay Mortenson Auditorium at Arcadia Public Library. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m.
This season’s concert features “Astor Piazzolla and the Argentinian Tango.” The great History of the Tango and Vivaldi’s Winter Concerto will be performed by guitarist Tengyue Zhang and violinist Paul Stein. Zhang has won first place in numerous international competitions and performs throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. Paul Stein performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic for 36 years.
For music lovers 12 and older. The concert is free, and reservations are not necessary, but seating is limited to the first 140 patrons. Guests are welcome to stay after and meet the musicians. A silent auction will be held to benefit the library and donations to the Friends of the Arcadia Public Library are always welcome. The Friends’ fundraising efforts support the library’s programs and services, including the annual Summer at Your Library.
