Friends of Foster Children Sugar Plum Tree
Friends of Foster Children (FOFC) has been serving foster children in the San Gabriel Valley since 1976 with a purpose to “help make a foster child’s life a little brighter.” Our goal is to help foster children in residential treatment centers in the San Gabriel Valley and assist newly emancipated foster teens as they learn to set up their own homes, continue their education, and begin their journey of being self-supporting. The Sugar Plum Tree is a 40-year FOFC tradition. As March turned to April, May and June, it appeared that the Pandemic Grinch might succeed in stealing Christmas 2020. Although we will not have our traditional trees at the mall, we have found a way to bring the JOY of Sugar Plum in a new and safe way. We are requesting Gift Cards with a value between $10-$50 from Target, Walmart, Amazon, or a Visa/Mastercard gift card. The youth will receive the cards and select their own gift. Card may be mailed to P.O. Box 1105, Arcadia, CA. 91077-1105. Your donation will fulfill a child’s wish for a joyous Holiday.
