The Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority (Construction Authority) is dedicating the 24-acre, $265 million Foothill Gold Line Operations Campus on Saturday, May 23. It’s been nearly four years since ground was broken on the Campus, and the Construction Authority is inviting everyone to join in the celebration.
Immediately following the dedication ceremony, participants will enjoy a Campus open house where they’ll learn more about the facility and the type of work that will be performed there.
The 24-acre Foothill Gold Line Operations Campus took nearly four years to design and build. It will be completed in the coming weeks, several months ahead of schedule and in time for light rail vehicles to be commissioned to the site before the Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Pasadena to Azusa is completed in late-September 2016. In celebration of the Operations Campus completion, a dedication ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 23, at 9:30 AM, followed by a community open house. All are welcome.
