Come join us for the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Government Affairs Forum.
The public is invited on the first Thursday of each month at 8 a.m. to hear informative presentations in the Chamber’s conference room at 388 W. Huntington Drive sponsored by Foothill Credit Union. The Government Affairs Forum is led by Chairman Jack Orswell of Orswell & Kasman, Inc. Environmental Assessments & Consulting, and co-chairman Peter Ulrich, former Arcadia City Councilman. A discussion of pending legislation and other updates are provided at each Forum by representatives from City, County, and State government offices, the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension and the Monrovia-Arcadia-Duarte Town Council.
For the upcoming May 1 Government Affairs Forum, the guest speaker will be Former Mayor Bob Harbicht. Mayor Harbicht has just concluded his fifth four-year term on the Arcadia City Council where he served as Mayor four times. He has had the unique distinction of serving as Mayor of two cities – 40 years ago he was the Mayor of Duarte, the youngest Mayor in that city’s history.
RSVPs to the Chamber of Commerce office are appreciated – (626) 447-2159 or info@ArcadiaCaChamber.org.
