| Foothill Unity Center, Inc. invites you to help us bring some holiday cheer to low income families in our local communities! Please visit our website at www.foothillunitycenter.org. Click on GET INVOLVED from the Home Page to sign in and register to volunteer for our Thanksgiving Packing Day and/or Family Distribution Events. A Login Name and Password will be required when registering. If you have forgotten your Login Name and/or Password or need to create a new Login Name and Password instructions are provided in the Login Window. Organizations must “Register as an Organization” and enter the quantity of volunteers (tickets) for their group. There will be a limited number of volunteers needed for each shift.
IMPORTANT: All volunteers under the age of 14 must have parental supervision.
Refer to the following dates for Thanksgiving opportunities: [Check website for available shift times] Friday, November 16: Pre-Set Up Day at the Los Angeles County Arboretum, Arcadia (STRONG VOLUNTEERS) Saturday, November 17: Packing Day in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles Arboretum (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS) Monday, November 19: Large Family Distribution in Ayers Hall at the Los Angeles Arboretum (ADULT VOLUNTEERS ONLY) Tuesday, November 20: Small Family Distribution at centers in Pasadena and Monrovia (ADULT AND YOUTH VOLUNTEERS)
Also in need of Volunteer Drivers to deliver food boxes to our homebound clients in the Pasadena area on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the months of November and December.
