Looking for a casual and unique place to grab a bite to eat for lunch? The Arcadia Chamber gave Clearman’s Galley a try for their monthly Love Lunch, with around 40 guests in attendance. Members and non-members alike lined up to order from their vast menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads and sides then sat in the dining area to network and chat. Cleaman’s Galley, affectionately known as ‘The Boat’ is a San Gabriel landmark, located right next to its sister-restaurant, Clearman’s North Woods Inn.
The boat itself, according to the Galley’s website, was originally launched in 1913 as a mail-service vessel between San Francisco and Alaska, but it became a hamburger stand with patio seating in 1968, when John Clearman brought it to San Gabriel. Now it is a local hot spot to enjoy great food, watch TV or grab a drink during happy hour.
So if you are in search of great food and the perfect atmosphere for lunch or dinner, look no further than Clearman’s Galley!
