MAD Town Council Summer Community Event
Join the Monrovia-Arcadia-Duarte Town Council on Saturday, June 25 for an evening of family fun! Attendees will enjoy parks activities, free burgers and hot dogs, a movie with popcorn, and lots of community vendors. The main event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8:15. Attendees will also get to connect with my office, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works’ Graffiti Abatement team, L.A. County Fire Department, L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, L.A. County Department of Mental Health, California Highway Patrol, and Foothill Unity Center.
Parks After Dark
Join the Department of Parks and Recreation for fun all summer long at their Parks After Dark program! Activities will be available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from now through August 6 so families can enjoy fun and fitness. Programs will be held for people of all ages from 6 to 10 p.m. at Charter Oak Park in Covina, Pamela Park in Duarte, Val Verde Park, George Lane Park in Quartz Hill, Jackie Robinson Park in Littlerock, Loma Alta Park in Altadena, and Stephen Sorensen Park in Lake Los Angeles.
