The Arcadia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to once again donate nearly $3,000 to local non-profit organiziations that supported the Chamber’s most successful Taste of Arcadia fundraiser on Sept. 23.
The presentation will be made at the Chamber’s monthly Networking Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Sunset Room of the Santa Anita Golf Course, 405 S. Santa Anita Avenue. Tickets are $25 at the door, $20 in advance, and $15 for Chamber members in advance.
Each year the Chamber offers any and all local non-profits the chance to raise funds by selling tickets to Taste of Arcadia for which the Chamber will donate $5 of every ticket sold. This year’s recipients are the Rotary Club of Arcadia, the Assistance League of Arcadia, Methodist Hospital, and Los Voluntarios of the Arboretum. The Chamber is also making an additional donation to the Rotary Club for providing extraordinary volunteer support, as well as the Arboretum Foundation — the Arboretum is the spectacular venue for the annual Taste of Arcadia.
Tickets for breakfasts sponsored year-round by Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary may be purchased online here at this web site or by calling 626-447-2159.
More than 1,000 tickets were sold to this year’s Taste of Arcadia event featuring more than 1,300 attendees overall, including entertainers and workers at more than 90 food, drink and business booths.
The Chamber’s annual Community Builder Presenting Sponsor, Westfield Santa Anita, was once again the Gold Sponsor of Taste of Arcadia, with Silver Sponsors Methodist Hospital, Wells Fargo, Breeders’ Cup, Merrill Lynch, and Professional Advisory Services.
