Printing Control hosts an interactive networking demonstration on how you can use Facebook to get more exposure for your business on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Networking Breakfast, sponsored by Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary.
Alex DiPeppe’s Italian Restaurant will also receive recognition as an Arcadia Business Icon presented by the Chamber in partnership with the Arcadia Historical Society.
Come out and join your industry peers for a morning of breakfast and networking from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. in the Sunset Room at the Santa Anita Golf Course.
Guest speaker and owner of Printing Control, Jerry Dominguez, will be demonstrating how you can use Facebook to reach out to your friends and associates as a cost-effective way to engage more people and get more exposure for your business. The Arcadia Business Icon recognition pays tribute to longstanding businesses in Arcadia for their ongoing contribution to the financial health of the City and to the historical cultural fabric of the community.
For more than 30 years some of the best pizza in the San Gabriel Valley has been prepared at the small, but fabulous Alex Di Peppe’s, 140 Las Tunas Drive, just east of Holly Avenue. Favorite family recipes are used to bring the best in Italian dishes to the table for patrons’ enjoyment.
In 1969, Alessandro (Alex) DiPeppe sought to give his patrons an assortment of his family’s home-cooked specialties and opened the restaurant. After the passing of Alex in 2008, son Larry took over the business and, in the Italian tradition, continues to offer the best of what his father created, and still makes everything on the menu from “scratch.”
As always, attendees of the Networking Breakfast (third Thursday of each month), sponsored by Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary, not only enjoy a great breakfast buffet and valuable networking with dozens of others, but also introduce themselves one at a time with a 30-second “elevator pitch.” In addition, they have a chance to win one of multiple gifts donated by members and attendees for a business card drawing, one of which is a free three-minute Business Spotlight, this month by last month’s winner, Sue Cook of Arcadia Performing Arts Foundation.
Tickets to the breakfast, which runs from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., are $20 in advance ($25 at the door) and discounted to $15 for Chamber members who pay at least two days in advance ($20 at the door for Chamber members). No charge for those holding a Chamber All Access Pass.
Tickets: 626-447-2159 or in the “Shop” area at www.ArcadiaCaChamber.org, or at Chamber office, 388 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, during regular business hours.
