This is a time for community and business leaders, legislators, and child advocates to rally together and listen to the latest on child care for our working families. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Eric Walsh, Director of Pasadena Health Dept., who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley.
In addition to a welcome by The Mayor of Pasadena, other legislative representatives expected include Assembly member Ed Chau, Assembly member Chris Holden, Senator Carol Liu, Supervisor Antonovich and Congresswoman Judy Chu, schedules permitting.
Groups represented among the approximately 125 attendees are from the SGV/Pomona Valleys, non-profits, community colleges, businesses, and community leaders, etc.
