The Arcadia Chamber gathered in the lobby of the Tax Council on Thursday, June 14th to officially welcome this new business and Victor Espino, a frequent attendee to many Chamber events, to the neighborhood. Victor had always been interested in doing something to help the community at large. Born and raised in Pasadena, Victor received his formal degree in finance and economics and recently opened his Tax Council office in Arcadia in order to begin his dream of being community oriented. It is this mindset that attracted almost 30 guests to Victor’s ribbon cutting, to help support him in his goal, including his father, mother and brother, who there in support.
Everyone spoke very highly of Victor and his commitment to his work, which includes tax audits and preparation along with tax planning, and of his overall accomplishments before guests gathered to cut the ribbon. After the festivities of the ribbon cutting concluded, Victor invited guests into the Tax Council’s beautiful conference room (with a great view of the San Gabriel Mountains) to give a seminar on the importance of saving for your future. He reminded his guests that he is not only around during tax season; Victor is available all year to help with any financial needs that might arise!
Afterwards, guests filed back into the lobby to toast Victor and wish him luck before spending some time networking. If you missed the opportunity to congratulate Victor on his grand opening, just attend a future Chamber event; you’re almost guaranteed to see him as he continues his goal of helping out the local community.
