Rita’s Italian Ice celebrated the opening of a new location in Arcadia with a VIP Ribbon Cutting event hosted by the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 733 W. Naomi Avenue, Suite I, Arcadia, CA. Delicious complimentary frozen gelati and frozen custard treats were served during the event that included a presentation of a donation by the four young men owners to the Children’s Law Center of California for $300 dollars.

A welcome and congratulatory speech was made by Chamber CEO Scott Hettrick, followed by a member plaque that was presented to Rita’s by new Chamber Vice President Vicki Knight of Century Rooter Service & Plumbing. Among others making welcoming speeches and presentations to all four of Rita’s Italian Ice owners were City Councilman Peter Amundson; Viola Van representing U.S. Congresswoman Judy Chu; and Olivia Lee representing Assembly Member Ed Cha. Chamber board member Joan Francone presented a certificate on behalf of L.A. County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

On Friday, April 5, Rita’s Italian Ice in the retail strip of shops new Pavilions behind L.A. Fitness will have a grand opening ceremony from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday, April 4, featuring free Ice all day.
