Rotary Club invites you to the Teri Muse Walk-a-Thon for Mental Health Awareness
Walk to raise awareness of the importance of self-care. This includes seeking resource and assistance to attain a healhy mindset and self-awareness.
The funds raised will benefit the Arcadia High School’s Wellness Center. The Center is an oasis and resource for students who may be overwhelmed by the pressures of an active cirriculum and busy lifestlye. One to one counseling and a safe space to destress is available at the Wellness Center. The space is open before school, during lunch, and 15-20 minutes after school. The Wellness Center is a light in the busy world of education and a sounding board where one can be heard.
Check-in for the walk will start at 8AM. The walk route will start at 9AM at the Santa Anita Avenue eastside entrance to the Arcadia County Park near the display of American flags known as the Field of Honor. We will go north to Huntington Drive, then west to corner of Huntington Drive and Santa Clara, then south along the park and Santa Anita Golf Course to the parking lot of the Arcadia Recreation and Community Center for a rest/water stop, then east on Campus Drive to Santa Anita Avenue, then north to Huntington Drive.
In recognition of the Field of Honor, you have an option to carry a full-size flag along the route. The flag will then be planted in the Field of Honor during the opening ceremony. You can purchase the flag on site and see it fly in tribute to your honoree.
